Consumer Help Guide

RCBB is a collection agency hired by another company to collect an outstanding debt.

Should you choose to inform us in written communication within a 30-day timeframe from the receipt of our initial “Collections Notice” letter or email, expressing your disagreement regarding the validity of this debt or any portion thereof, we will undertake the necessary steps to validate the debt or procure a copy of a legal judgment. Subsequently, we will dispatch a copy of said judgment or verification to you.

Furthermore, if you opt to make a written request to us within 30 days following the reception of our introductory “Collections Notice” letter or email, we will furnish you with the identity and mailing address of the original creditor, if it differs from the present creditor.

For your convenience, you have the option to submit your disputes through our online platform by clicking here.

Should you find that your RCBB-account-related information in your credit report appears inaccurately, and you wish to address this matter, you also retain the option to initiate a dispute regarding the entry on your credit report through the credit bureaus.

We need to reach out to the individual who has an outstanding debt with us. If you have been listed by this person on any form, we will persist in contacting the debtor through you. If you are unfamiliar with the debtor and believe you shouldn’t have been listed as a reference, you can have your information removed by submitting a written request.

We apologize if any inconvenience has occurred. If you have been inaccurately listed or contacted, please get in touch with us immediately so we can update or remove the incorrect information.

It is possible that someone has listed you as a reference or included your contact information on a loan application. If you suspect this has occurred, we encourage you to reach out to us with any information you have so that we can take the necessary steps.

Should you wish to cease further contact regarding this debt, or if you have no knowledge of the said debt, we will promptly act on it once we receive your written communication.

You may find our contact information or even send us a message online by clicking here.

Accounts with overdue payments are subject to reporting as a negative derogatory annotation to credit bureaus if they fulfill the criteria outlined in our internal protocols and adhere to federal and state regulations.

In the event that your account has yet to be submitted to credit bureaus, you have the option to prevent its reporting. This can be achieved by settling the account balance in its entirety before we take the step to report it to the credit bureaus.

In scenarios where your account has already been reported to the credit bureaus, settling the outstanding amount can potentially contribute to an enhancement in your credit score.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that we generally conduct inquiries with credit bureaus to acquire location and credit-related information, regardless of your account’s eligibility for credit reporting. Consequently, these inquiries might become visible on your credit report.

Read the letter we sent you and make sure that you understand your rights and deadlines. If you wish to resolve your debt or have any questions, you may contact us at anytime (click here view our contact information). We have many different payment plans available to help you resolve your debt and put it behind you. Your letter may provide some options for you that you can take advantage of.

You can make a payment online or you may mail in your payment. Again, you may view all of our contact information by clicking here.

In the event that you have pursued bankruptcy proceedings and/or received a debt discharge through bankruptcy, we kindly request that you inform us of this situation. You can reach out to us by writing us; furnishing the subsequent details to the extent they are within your knowledge:

1) The precise name(s) as displayed on the bankruptcy petition
2) The date of the initial filing
3) The specific Chapter under which the bankruptcy was filed (e.g., Chapter 7 or Chapter 13)
4) The case number assigned to the bankruptcy
5) The state and district court or the state in which the bankruptcy was initiated

Should your account be subject to a bankruptcy petition or discharge, we will halt all collection endeavors accordingly.

The easiest way to pay a debt is by doing so online, but visiting the “Make a Payment” link in our website’s navigation menu above.

Other acceptable methods of payment include:

  • ACH Check (e-Check)
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Money Order
